Types of word games
There are 4 main types of word games on Poki.
Word-building puzzles
The same letters can spell several different words. Connect letters in Word City Crossed to fill the crossword. Count the empty spaces to see how many letters a missing word needs.
Word Slide gives you columns of letters to move up or down. Move the columns until the marked row spells a word. Keep making words until you’ve used every letter tile.
Word searches
Look through a letter grid for the words on your list, including those running diagonally. Choose an animal theme in Word Search and try to finish faster than last time. In WordsSearch, you mark each word as you find it as you race against the clock to finish.
Clue and category puzzles

Hangman gives you a topic to help with your first guess. As you reveal letters, use them to work out what fits, but watch your mistakes: 7 wrong guesses end the round.
