Miss a jump and you drift into space. Run onto a wall and gravity rotates, turning that wall into your new floor so you keep running on a different side of the tunnel.
In Run 3, some tiles crumble, while ice tiles force earlier jumps. If you jump the same way every time, you will fall.
Play Run 3 for free at Poki and see how far you can go before the tunnels make you miss a jump.
You run automatically.
Because you cannot stop moving, every landing must prepare the next jump. Line yourself up and time your jumps so that every landing gets you ready for the next platform.
Run 3 is about looking ahead before you land.
Collapsing tiles remove safe ground quickly, so waiting too long usually causes you to fall.
Ice requires earlier jumps because of increased speed, while conveyors demand delayed timing based on which way they move.

Use the on-screen controls to move and jump.
Holding jump increases distance. Short taps help control smaller adjustments when precision matters more than speed.
Run 3 includes 2 game modes that change how you play.
Optional challenges reward Power Cells for completing levels in unusual ways, letting you replay sections to unlock these challenges.
Run 3 features 9 playable characters that change how you move through levels.
If a section is too difficult to complete, switching characters often changes the solution entirely.
Choosing the right character is often more important than perfect execution.
| Character | How to unlock | About |
|---|---|---|
| Runner | Default character | Balanced movement, ideal for learning new layouts safely. |
| Skater | Finish level 10 in Explore Mode | Faster and jumps farther but is harder to control in tight tunnels. |
| Lizard | Finish level 40 in Explore Mode | Slower speed with higher jumps, useful for long gaps |
| Bunny | Earn any 8 achievements | Constantly hops with high speed and strong jump height. |
| Gentleman | 2,000 energy cells | Automatically collects nearby Power Cells in Infinite Mode. |
| Duplicator | 6,000 energy cells | Creates copies that can act as extra platforms. |
| Child | Complete the low-power area | Very light with a floaty jump and can run on fragile tiles without breaking them. |
| Student | 10,000 energy cells | Can flip gravity mid-air to correct positioning mistakes. |
| Angel | 12,000 energy cells | Performs an air dash and glides downward for safer landings. |
Surviving longer runs comes down to changing your jump timing.
Run 3 was developed by Joseph Cloutier and released in 2014 as a browser-based platform game. It became widely played during the Flash era and was later converted to remain playable in modern browsers.
The rotating tunnels and character abilities are what make Run 3 different from other running games.

The Dino Game offers the classic offline Chrome game where you jump to avoid cacti in an endless loop. Like Run 3, success comes from committing to clean timing instead of reacting too late.
Subway Surfers is an endless runner where you dodge trains and barriers while the speed steadily increases. Like Run 3, success comes from looking ahead instead of reacting late.
